I haven't seen any mention of the problem here, but after installing Kernel 3.4 , Nvidia-drivers 295.49 wouldn't compile. The solution (via Google + Launchpad bugzilla) is to copy 4 header files from /usr/src/linux/arch/arm/include/asm to -/-/-/-/x86/include/asm : system.h compiler.h system_info.h system_misc.h .
Also the Ethernet kernel config lines have changed a bit & I had to ask explicitly for my mobo's version with 'r8169'.
