It s a bit OT but at least I am doing this on a gentoo system. Does anyone here know if it is possible to determine the kind of video file a browser is visiting?
Many are flash these days but I think some still newer stuff is showing up. Something in mp4 container perhaps. I'm hoping somewhere in the negotiations between server and browser info pertaining to the type of file can be found. Maybe some firefox addon or something similar.
