The module (saa7134) is loaded and has the correct board type and tuner but no matter what application I use (I have tried xawtv, kdetv and tvtime) I cannot get any picture or sound. I've tried the instructions found at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_saa7134 but they haven't helped at all. The card is a Pinnacle PCTV Stereo which uses the Philips saa7134 module, I can get it to work under Mandrake but have not had any luck under Gentoo which is my prefered Linux version. Any help greatly appreciated otherwise my PVR machine may have to end up being Windows based :(
