I have a similar question. My Laptop (Toshiba Satellite A70) does have SVideo Out, and I really need that to work. I saw on the ATI site that their propriatary Linux drivers were not for notebooks. Is that true, and is there an extra package (open source) I could emerge for Open Source support on SVideo? For the record, its an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.
