using iproute2 (emerge -av sys-apps/iproute2)

a two interfaces /etc/conf.d/net look like this:

routes_eth0=(
       "192.168.55.0/24 via 192.168.0.2"
)

config_eth1=(
       "123.123.123.123/29"
)

routes_eth1=(
       "default via 123.123.123.124"
