I do not think so. The ebuild does not download the JRE/JDK but prompts the user to do so and place the .bin in the portage distfiles directory. The sun licence agreement is displayed, and has to be agreed to, before it is possible to download the binary from sun. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
