Yes, I use a notebook almost exclusively, and it is great knowing that if someone stole it, they wouldn't get anything of interest on me. Of course, I'm still out $3K, and they can just reformat the hard drive. I will in the next few days put together a draft step-by-step proceedure for doing it, as it seems there's some interest. However, I am still hung up on the shutdown commands, as my notebook hangs at trying to unmount the CFS directory.
