I was on the installation process of 2005.0 on an x86 box. When i reached the point of rebooting i tried to log in as root but i got an "incorrect password" message.
So, what i did was, i rebooted with the universal cd and: o mounted dev/hda1 (boot) && dev/hda3 (root) o chrooted and used passwd to set the password again
Though i did this, i tried rebooting and when i tried to log in as root, i got the "incorrect password" message once more. Am i doing something wrong or is there another way of doing it?
