Hi guys,

I'm own a Intel se7210tp1-e with a onboard Intel 6300ESB Raid Controller w/ two
80GB disks
Well, I'm new to this hardware RAID things. My doubt is the follow:

I've booted gentoo 2005.0 live-cd and when I typed "fdisk -l" I've got two
disks printed:
sda and sdb
Raid is enabled at BIOS and even at the Adaptec onboard controller (RAID1), so
isn't to get only one disc
printed when raid enabled?
I also tried to create some partitions at sda but that aren't replicated to
sdb, so what am I doing wrong?
Have any modules that I should load after the cd boot?
Some sata modules are loaded like:
sata_qstor
sa_uli
sata_sis
sta_sx4
sta_nv
sta_via
sata_svw
sata_sil
sata_promise
libata
but I didn't found any module with name like 6300ESB. I can also load raid0 and
raid1 modules but I think it's
just necessary for software RAID.
So, could someone give me a tip about that? I'm really confused and any
suggestion will be appreciated.

Tks a lot,

Claudinei Matos
