Hi, I'm installing a cluster, i'm using hearbeat for this, at this time everything is working fine, if the machine 'dies' the other takes over and all the programs/setting are taking over fine. The next step is now to control not only full machine but the network conectivity to that machine. For this i add a line ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (for the switch on with the primary machine is connected) and the respawn ipfail. After i restart the heartbeat proccess, it switches after two seconds to the backup machine, i can ping without problems that switch and in the log is see: node xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is dead. If i understand the manual wright this setup is good?
