Note that the original poster wanted to know if there's something in
portage itself. (and not in overlay) :-)
If you look at the ebuild itself, you'll notice that it doesn't include
any of the normal portage patches
eg:
grep -i unipatch suspend2-sources-2.6.11.ebuild
