Adding the firewire support should be as simple as enabling the "ieee1394" use flag, and then re-emerging mythtv. To add a use flag to just one package, add a line like media-tv/mythtv ieee1394 to /etc/portage/package.use (create the dir/file if nessessary) -- Calvin Walton -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
