The last time I checked the distcc-knoppix website, the project's maintainer stated that there might be problems using it with Gentoo. I cannot remember the exact reason why, something to do with the fact that Gentoo uses a specially-patched version of gcc? Matt -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
