There is very clearly a problem with the Gateway number and, perhaps, the
Destination as well? A kernel problem, perhaps?



I ignored the original thread, but have read your original message.
The problem is clear. You have no default route. Nowhere for the kernel to send packets to which match no other route.


Set the gateway variable in /etc/conf.d/net
