Hello, I'm trying to find someone who is using Djbdns split-horizon with tagged records.
Without explaining my major source of confusion, (as that would take up to much space with-in this email), can someone with a network setup using the above djbdns setup kindly submitt an example of what thier tinydns data file looks like as well as how they have dnscache setup as well. The above method allows you to use one tinydns database for both internal private views and external public views combined. I like this. Seems too easy. But does Tindydns have to be listening on more than one ip address for this to work? One for public and one for private? Is the ip that points to your domainname.com listed in dnscache (tinydns ip) private or public? I must be missing something very obvious here and have read, read, and reread for the last 2 days and am still confused with how to setup this up correctly. Thats why I'm looking for a working example and not partial incomplete examples, which is all I seem to find. http://homepages.tesco.net./~J.deBoynePollard/FGA/dns-split-horizon.html#TaggedRecords http://cr.yp.to/djbdns/tinydns-data.html#differentiation Thanks, Joshua Banks __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
