In the course of trying to emerge "gnucash", I was forced to emerge "gtkhtml".
Configure of "gtkhtml" fails
with message:
checking for Gnome configuration applet libraries >= 1.0.0... not found
configure: error:
You need Gnome configuration applet libraries 1.0.0 or later to build gtkhtml.
!!! ERROR: gnome-extra/gtkhtml-1.1.10 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 66, Exitcode 1
!!! (no error message)
I can find no gentoo package named "capplet" or "libcapplet". I installed
"libcapplet-1.5.11" from
tarball and verified that libraries were installed, but that didn't help. I use kde;
gnome is not installed.
Can someone please point me to the missing library package?
