The thing is i've given up on gnome. I don't really use it. I just like to have KDE and gnome installed, just so that no programs try to compile it as dependencies.
Some of the posts in the forums are: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=79642&highlight=gnome http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=74452&highlight=gnome http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=80952&highlight=gnome Its not only todo with gnome-panel. Its other programs aswell. Once i tried installing gnome and it passed gnome-panel, then it died on the next app. Then tried emerging gnome again and it reinstalled gnome-panel and died :-( Anyway, i gave up. > On 2003.09.04 19:44, MooktaKiNG wrote: >> My configuration isn't too special.
