Which 802.11{b,g} PCI cards work well with (gentoo) Linux? More
specifically, which D-Link or NetGear cards work well?

Hi Ian,

I'm using a Netgear MA401 wireless card with gentoo; it works well. I have to plug in the card after init finishes and starts the user session, but besides from that there's no problem. I use a Netgear MR314 wireless DSL router which is the most stable network device that I've used for years.

I also have a d-Link card at home, but I didn't manage to get it going with linux. Under windows however it seems to work all right. Regards,

- Christian
