kimu, my Powermac 8600/300, gave me this error after i ran these commands:
rm -rf /var/cache/edb/*
emerge sync
regenworld
kimu root # emerge -Up world
>>> --upgradeonly implies --update... adding --update to options.
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

How do I go about correcting this? Whenever I got errors like that
before, they would be solved by clearing /var/cache/edb and syncing and
regenerating the worldfile. This time it's sticking around. Help!
