I think that if you double-check things, you will find that you do not have /dev/hd1, /dev/hd2 nor /dev/hd3. You probably have /dev/hda1, /dev/hda2 and /dev/hda3. Not that there is an "a" added between the numeral and the letter "d". Hope it helps. -rex -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
