My first thought is that, as gentoo-server is a low-traffic list,
you'd likely find more people willing to comment if you were to post
on the gentoo-dev list instead.
I originally opened this as a feature request:

And was suggested to try server (or admin) first, then finally dev.
That may have been a somewhat generic answer, and dev is really the
right place.
My second thought is that this may be of particular interest to
those developers who are maintaining ebuilds that import the webapp
eclass, as web applications seem to be rather volatile in this regard.
Agreed. Is there anyway to so mark a message, or just to maybe put in
the subject/discuss in the body?
