It would probably make sense down the line to turn this into a 64 bit quickinstall guide, as that's rapidly becoming the common denominator for new users. This commit makes the following changes:

Using ext4 as default for / is, while I agree, discussed a few days ago on
the -dev ml iirc and discarded.
