Discussion happens BEFORE a change.  To stabilize something, and adjust
rdeps all on your own and then "announcing" the changes is ramming a
change down people's throat with now room for negotiation... that sounds
vaguely similar to the kind of "abuse of power" you are accusing me of.

This issue clearly isn't limited to udev, and sadly, until developers
show each other some more respect, I don't see how this ends well.
Making large changes to the tree and "announcing" them shows a complete
lack of respect for the developer community, and I can't believe I'm the
only one who feels that way.
