Thanks for the link. I didn't know Johannes resumed maintaining colorgcc. [2] has a set of disadvantages. - the current ebuild in the portage tree does not pull from [2]. Even if Johannes took my patches they'd not end up in the portage tree - [2] does not have the gentoo patches that the portage tree has The colorgcc ChangeLog in the portage tree shows that the current gentoo maintainer is Jonathan Callen.
