More importantly, I don't think anyone currently active on amd64 does touch KDE packages. Looking at changelogs, kugelfang is active (but not stabling amd64, it seems); wolf31o2 and cryos are away; lanius, absinthe, and jhuebel are no longer on amd64; that leaves malc, who hasn't done anything kde related since 2004, as far as I can see.
