Well, EAPI 1 needs to be delivered quickly... So it's down to what Portage can give quickly... Candidates, I believe, being: * SLOT deps, but probably not USE deps * Remove automatic directory making for do* * do* fail on missing files * Phase changes: src_fetch -> src_unpack -> src_prepare -> src_configure -> src_compile -> src_test -> src_install * src_test always called except if RESTRICT=test * no automatic RDEPEND * *DIR, ROOT guaranteed to end in / -- Ciaran McCreesh
