I'm familiar with this codebase and maintain it as part of Librecast as it isn't packaged on many other platforms. Happy to take this on. I've not maintained a Gentoo package before but I do most of my development on Gentoo boxen having been a Gentoo User for 15 years. I've been looking for some way to get involved, and this seems like a good place to start.
