The complaints was about the cache, not about the actual sync time This is what, maybe the equivilent of a new ebuild once, and a -rX any time somethings changed? It won't effect much at all and end up being a lot more helpful (and quickly implemented) than waiting around for someone to write a web database and pushing that through. We have metadata.xml's, why not use them? > > -- > Lares Moreau <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | LRU: 400755 http://counter.li.org > lares/irc.freenode.net | > Gentoo x86 Arch Tester | ::0 Alberta, Canada > Public Key: 0D46BB6E @ subkeys.pgp.net | Encrypted Mail Preferred > Key fingerprint = 0CA3 E40D F897 7709 3628 C5D4 7D94 483E 0D46 BB6E > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) > > iD8DBQBDsJPRfZRIPg1Gu24RAuwnAJ4uLZw5Vu2dHM1pe2xSdiGwvPXH7wCg2yCt > Hpb7QrVs/RJ5Tiz4iyI0ipM= > =k3qI > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > > -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
