I was wondering if you could add a couple of checks for Gentoo/ALT compatibility... not the "big" ones, but at least the enewuser one and the gnuld one (basically just regexp matching for enewuser.*/bin/false and --with-gnu-ld) that makes a bit difficult to continuously control just from this side :) Also, could you add ABOUT-NLS to the list of files to avoid dodoc-ing? It's mainly GNUish things that does not even get updated on others projects and are mostly useless.
