We're talking about running a Gentoo system with a FreeBSD kernel and
base system instead of the more normal Linux/GNU one. The system is
built and installed via Portage, and the initscripts are a modified
version of those used on Gentoo Linux. The base system software comes
from the FreeBSD project, and the applications from the Portage tree.
So the FreeBSD kernel and base system are also installed via Portage? I
might be interested in this. Is there a place to get install CDs,
further information, etc.?
