Thank you for the reply. I currently build up complicated queries with the MultiFieldQueryParser and use a rewrite for highlighting text. If I change to a NumericRangeQuery then I will lose the behaviour that I need from the MultiFieldQueryParser. Is there a way to integrate numeric behaviour into a multi field query?
