We've had tons of discussion and two votes on general@ already amongst the lucene/solr committers. I called the final PMC vote on private@ to ratify the decision of the lucene/solr committers. Doug correctly pointed out that the PMC vote doesn't belong on private@ so I moved it back here. So the vote is no longer being held on priv...@. It would be odd indeed if the PMC voted to overrule the committers. -Yonik
