I found the issue, in the
https://cloudberry.apache.org/docs/deployment/quick-build, it clones the
git repo directly, instead of using the downloaded source tarball.

Once, I used the source tarball to compile, the `greenplum_path.sh` is
there. So, it's a false alarm.

Just in case people following the
https://cloudberry.apache.org/docs/deployment/quick-build by copy-paste the
instructions, the quick-build should put a clear instruction of the section
following "# Download Source Code" where to download the released source
tarball, instead of always cloning from the git repository.
