Dear IPMC Members,

Apache Teaclave (Incubating) [0] entered the Apache Incubator on August 20,
2019 [1]. Teaclave provides a set of SDKs that empower developers to build
memory-safe Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) applications across diverse
confidential computing platforms, including the teaclave-trustzone-sdk [2]
for Arm TrustZone, the teaclave-sgx-sdk [3] for Intel SGX, and others [4,
5].

## Community Growth and Diversity

Over the incubation journey, the Teaclave community has grown into a
diverse and sustainable group. Highlights include:

- 29 committers, including 13 PPMC members (9 original, 4 added during
incubation), 7 new committers added during incubation, and 9 mentors over
time (including 3 currently inactive)
- 79 unique contributors from more than 15 known organizations, spanning
both academia and industry
- Participation and support from organizations such as Ant Group, CertiK,
Google, JD.com, Qualcomm, Linaro, and others

## Releases and Activity

Teaclave has successfully produced 9 official Apache releases, led by 5
different release managers [6]. The community has demonstrated healthy and
sustained development, with 863 out of 875 pull requests merged or closed,
and 454 out of 578 issues resolved.

All development is conducted openly and collaboratively via Apache mailing
lists [7] and GitHub.

## IP and Branding Status

- Trademarks: No registered trademark exists for “Teaclave”
- Podling Name Search: Completed and cleared without conflicts [8]
- IP Clearance: Completed at the time of code donation. All committers have
ICLAs on file [1]
- Licensing: No licensing or dependency issues have been reported in
releases

## Graduation Readiness

Maturity Validation:
The community has completed a full Podling Maturity Assessment [9],
demonstrating our readiness for graduation.

Community Consensus:
The community has completed discussion and voted on the readiness of
graduation [10]. The community reached consensus to proceed.

Community Governance:
The PPMC has confirmed the proposed initial PMC membership, and a Chair has
been nominated via the private mailing list.
