The CCF <https://www.cloudcarbonfootprint.org/> was an important project in the world of green software but Thoughtworks, the company behind it, has stopped supporting it and the project is now unmaintained. There is still however a community of users and people willing to work on it and definitely a need for it. I suggested in the discussion above that the ASF could be a good home for the project should it get restarted but given Thoughtworks' inaction, I am not sure that they will take the necessary steps to donate the project to the ASF for incubation. Would it be possible to simply fork the project and put it through incubation? Any precedents? Thanks Julien
