-1 (binding) I did a quick build and saw that the xtable-utilities Jar <https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/xtable/xtable-utilities/0.1.0-incubating/xtable-utilities-0.1.0-incubating-bundled.jar> has dependencies bundled in, but doesn't have a LICENSE or NOTICE that reflects those dependencies. Both look like the boilerplate ones from the source repo (which may also not be correct).
In order to ship third-party code in bundled Jars, projects need to follow the third-party license policy <https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#asf-3rd-party-license-policy>. There is quite a bit of work that goes into correctly documenting the licenses of ASF releases, so I'd recommend that the podling get a release or two done without a bundled Jar. That typically makes it easier.
