I'd rather not invest in the small patches to make the current site a little bit better - there's problems down to the technology in use that make it not a maintainable option much further. I was tied up with other needs, plus waiting for more info on what Sam was trying to do, it seems like he stopped at putting users in ldap, so I think we can pick up the rest from there. I have a prototype that uses styles and layout from the top level domain plus asciidoc and markdown powering the individual pages.
