Let me confirm Romain's answer by saying that we haven't decided on a
direction at this time.

I do plan on keeping an eye on the project during incubation in the
meantime.

I'll also point out that issues concerning the specification (and the TCK)
can be raised and discussed
via the mailing list of the java.net 'jbatch' project which we used to
develop the RI and TCK.
