There is still some duplication of information for the status of each podling between the main file [1] and each podling status web page. We also need each podling to take more care of their status metadata.
One aspect is the Sponsor/Champion/Mentors information. To reduce this duplication and out-of-date-ness, each podling status page could simply link to the central information, rather than repeat that in their status page. e.g. http://incubator.apache.org/projects/#allura http://incubator.apache.org/projects/#devicemap That page is automatically generated whenever someone edits the metadata summary file [1]. (Which then need to be committed too.) There is also a very important past discussion that did already address many other aspects of the management of the projects. We still need to implement that.
