Note that if you just want to make your code available under the Apache License 2.0 as per http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.txt , you can do that yourself without necessarily combining your code with a project of the Apache Software Foundation or creating a new project here - just declare that you are using this license and make it available to whoever downloads your code.
