I have been on vacation since last week and missed this hot discussion. I think BlueSky is a valuable project and the proposers/contributors all have good intention to make the project successful here. I also understand that due to the special way that the project operates (short term students as the main workforce), ASF might not be the best place for it. BlueSky could still succeed as an open source project somewhere else.
