In General, the Brazilian users keeps using BrOffice. BrOffice has changed it's base from OOo to LO, and later on the community decide to also change the name (the same community that is a founding member of the TDF). So to the huge majority of users, BrOffice just 'changed the name' to LibreOffice, and they simply don't care that much about the name, as long as they still have in hands a FOSS office suite that they know how to use and they're already confortable to use it.
