Hi David, I have seen OpenDeploy website, and it's right that the name is already used ever if the tool purpose is not exactly the same as AutoDeploy (ones again, the scope is not exactly the same). You know, before starting AutoDeploy project, I have made a lot of research to find a tool responding to the JEE administrator needs. I think that, currently, AutoDeploy is the only tool that cover all JEE scope including application and resources for the three major application servers (JBoss, Weblogic and Websphere).
Concerning the name, thanks for the link. So, as : - Apache Scrum - Apache OpenDeploy - Apache Maestro are not acceptable (because there are already used by others projects), I propose a new one :) Apache Octopus I have made a quick search on the internet and I haven't found any software project with this name. What do you think around this name ? Thanks, Regards JB On Wednesday 24 December 2008 - 10:11, David Crossley wrote: > Jean-Baptiste Onofr? wrote: > > Agree :) > > > > I'm OK with OpenDeploy.
