Hi Everyone, My name is Yeliz (phonetically Yeah-Liz). I am a PhD student and an Open Source researcher from Syracuse University. You guys see me and my colleagues wearing pith helmets at ApacheCon.
This year we are working on a project to understand what makes podlings successful. My professor, Kevin Crowston had shared this with a number of ASF members, who thought it was a good idea and could be beneficial for ASF. So I am looking forward to meeting and talking to the members of podlings to understand what they go through. I am not sure who will be here in New Orleans and from which podling. For those of you who are attending ApacheCon--I would appreciate if you would drop me a line and introduce yourself or say hi at when you see me (a female wearing the pith helmet) during ApacheCon in new Orleans and say hi. And yes, you can take a picture with my pith helmet :) In fact, many have done so in the past.. Thanks and looking forward to talking to you.
