The Tika community has voted [1] to request and the Lucene PMC has
accepted [2] graduating Apache Tika to a Lucene subproject. As
described in in the graduation guide [3], I now ask the Incubator PMC
to approve this graduation. For background, see the Tika status page
[4] and the recent graduation discussion at tika-dev@ [5].
Please vote on approving the graduation of Tika. This vote is open for
the next 72 hours and only votes from Incubator PMC members are
binding.

[ ] -1 Tika is not ready to graduate
The following Incubator PMC members already participated in the
community vote and indicated that their votes should also be counted
in this approval vote. I will be counting these votes when tallying
the results.
