JIRA for Ivy, can we import the existing bug reports into the new database ?

With a bit of effort, and not-100% fidelity, yes. Jason Dillon wrote a
tool to generate a script recreating JIRA data:

Great! Importing existing issues will really be nice. Tell me when it will
be ready to be imported, then I'll run the swizzle script and stop our JIRA
instance to avoid issue updates during migration.
