Hi folks, I am the owner of Lucene.Net project.
Doug Cutting alerted me to this email and I just responded to him in a separate email. Funny, I didn't get this email into my [EMAIL PROTECTED] inbox, but that's another subject. To sum-up, Lucene.Net is alive and well. I am finishing off the 1.9 release. The SVN is setup and is being used. However, the incubation website is still awaiting some intercultural setups, mainly the front page (lucene.net.html page) and the SVN mailing list. As you know, a while back I submitted a JIRA issue for the mailing list (see: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-655.) To setup the webpage, I was told I can't create the page manually, but use a "tool" -- I don't know what that tool is, and ask Doug for help. Attached is the file "lucene.net.html" which, if I understand things right, I am suppose to use this "tool" to create the web page off this file, no? I am new to all this stuff, so if you can help please do so. I rather focus on the code instead of the infrastructure, but it looks like we are not too far off to get the infrastructure in place. The mentors should be able to help in all these regards. While they don't do all the work, they act as the intermediataries between the incubator and the project. They likely have access to update svn auth or know who does (the Lucene PMC chair, most likely), and they have access to update the status as others do. SVN creation is usually done through JIRA, I think. Oddly, it seems http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/incubator/lucene.net/ is already there, despite not having lists, so I don't know if the commits are going anywhere. - Brett On 3/10/06, Jeff Rodenburg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Thanks Brett, couple more questions though.
