I've seen this comment a couple of times in the last week or so, but I don't really understand what it's trying to say. What makes an Apache project "umbrella-ish"? How does "umbrella-ish" relate to the intended managment of sub-projects by an Apache project? What should an Apache project with sub-projects be doing to avoid being "umbrella-ish".
