For the actual CCLA, no requirement - it's there for employees to use to ensure that they have clear ability to participate from the POV of their employer. IOW, CYA.

them to carefully read the material?
yes - the system already requires the ICLA to be in place, and that is all that is required by the ASF for individual participation.
