Excalibur is similar -- 'client' apache projects such as cocoon and james get commit rights to the repository but are not "committers". Gump is also similar -- all apache committers get commit rights to the repository. I can't for the life of me remember the last time there was something resembling a formal vote by "gump committers". I don't think we really define "gump committer". > I don't want to blur the picture, but it's important to make the > distinction: committing code is only one of the ways in which a > committer can help - at least in the Cocoon view of these things. I don't think a somewhat blurred or non-standard picture here is all bad, as long as its an actual picture. ciao!
